The friendly little competition between Liberal, Kansas, and Olney, England, with women running down the streets of each town flipping pancakes, has been going on for more than 70 years now. It is still the only race of its kind on the planet. Pancake Day this year is February 25th with activities all day long! With a Pancake Breakfast starting a 6 AM at Seward County Activity Center and Races starting at 10:30 AM for the youth, 11:40 for the Men's Pacer Race and then Big Race at 11:55 AM at 6th and Kansas Ave. We end the day with a Parade going from Eleventh and Kansas Ave to Trail Street at 3 PM! Come Enjoy All the Fun!
