Time
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Venue
Morganville's Community Room, Morganville, KS

Adult and youth string players (violin, viola, cello, string bass) who can read music are invited to join Friday night rehearsals in Morganville's Community Room on Main St. (67468) starting this Friday, June 23, at 6:30-8:00 pm to prepare a fun program of mini-concerts for the day on Friday, Sept. 24. Details are being finalized after this rehearsal, and then weekly rehearsals resume Friday, August 13. The Community Chamber Orchestra plays without a conductor, employs youth and adults, and has no fee or audition required. Participants must wear masks, bring their own music stands/pencils, and provide their own transportation. For more information contact Dr. Anne Clark at baclark@twinvalley.net or 785-926-4725. Videos and photos of the Orchestra's July 2 concert of all original music can be viewed at www.facebook.com/CommunityChamberOrchestra. After Sept. 24 rehearsals resume for a spring concert in Morganville School. For more about this unusual chamber music opportunity, see www.kansasmusic.net.
